We made a house out of the trees.
The heat of the sun laid a blanket across our skin
The forest held our childhood memories.
Those moments never never knowing the touch of sin
Our relationship grew with the branches, but the branches dried out.
Not enough water in the roots, not enough trust for one another.
We lost the comfort we found.
The sun ran away, it’s too dry to hover.
The leaves blowing in the wind.
Branches flying and falling from the trees.
The man watching the view grinned.
He wanted peace so badly.
Nature is uncontrollable, and wild.
But all the man did was smile.
1. I now know that sonnets have rhyming schemes, and follow a pattern such as an ABAB. Where A rhymes with A and B rhymes with B and the last two lines of the sonnet end with CC, two lines that rhyme. I also know that there are many other different types of rhyming schemes such as AABB and many others.
2. I use nature In my sonnet by including trees, sun, a forest, branches, and water in roots.
6. I am very happy with the end result of my sonnet, I really loved how it turned out.
